I.N.S.P.I.R.E. is an acronym for
“increasing necessary skills to provide individuals with resources for empowerment. The I.N.S.P.I.R.E. program is a mentoring program for middle school students with emphasis on career exploration. It is the goal of the I.N.S.P..I.R.E. program to provide motivation, and guidance on career exploration to thrust the students toward
their fullest potential; whether that includes attending college or entrepreneurship.
The Ath-Lead-ics program is designed to promote positive peer pressure, fitness, and leadership among children/youth, ages 5-18, through mentorship and organized sports. The Ath-Lead-ics program provides sports leadership and skills clinic in basketball, volleyball, and soccer for males and females.
Summer STEM Program
S.T.E.E.L Birmingham is a summer STEM program design to foster creative platforms for students to engage in STEM activity while also learning transferrable soft-skills to be cutting-edge in the marketplace and help change the economic landscape of Birmingham, and Alabama at large.

"Show Up" Day
We ask our community partners, professionals, para-professionals, etc to "Show Up" at your partner schools to mentor youth before school. This is one hour of impactful, meaningful one on one time with invested JHI partners to ensure that our youth learn the power of mentorship and network.
